It has been fun for me as the pastor to watch God work in the lives of our folks. God just never ceases to amaze me with the way He blesses lives.
One woman got her kids back in her life, got a new place to live, and all the furniture she needed in just one week! She had no way to do that, so she knows, it is all from God.
Another couple in our church was in desperate need of a bed. Just one day before they needed it, someone dropped off a bed to their home. If you ask them, they will tell you, it is all from God.
One young couple, struggling, hurting, having a difficult time, both accepted Christ. They did not want to come to church because they did not feel that could look appropriate. I convinced them to come anyway. They told one of our folks afterwards – “Nobody just us. We just felt loved.” It’s all from God
One young man was looking to buy his first car. He knew nothing about buying a car and was somewhat nervous going into it. By chance – not really – by divine appointment – he met a retired real estate agent who was selling his old Cadillac because he bought a new car. The young man ended up with a this Cadillac – in mint condition – for just the small amount of money he had saved. His comment was similar. It’s all from God.
Consider what the Bible says.
John 3:27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
When we insist on what we think we want, or what we think we should have, we really rob the Lord of an opportunity to bless us. God can do more for us than we can ever do for ourselves! So just let go of the stress. Pray. Wait. Watch. Prayerfully you will soon see,
It’s all from God.
